Norway

Norway is a country that never ceases to amaze us. Over three road trips, we have explored nearly every corner of this breathtaking land, and each journey has revealed something new. From the endless, steep fjords of the west coast to the rugged, rocky shores of the south, the vast fjell highlands in the center, and the increasingly remote and wild landscapes of the north – the diversity of Norway’s scenery is truly remarkable.

This is also the country where we got engaged, making it even more special to us. We love hiking here and doing multi-day cabin tours, immersing ourselves in nature while enjoying the solitude and freedom the mountains offer. The weather can be unpredictable, especially in places like the Lofoten Islands and Senja, but that only adds to the adventure.

One route that left a lasting impression is the Forgotten World Highway, whose name is entirely justified – traveling it feels like stepping into a land untouched by time.

Norway is dramatic and untamed, yet it feels intimate and personal. This gallery captures moments from our adventures – from the quiet trails in the mountains to the wild fjords and coastal panoramas that make this country so unique.
